With our way of testing Schuhren watches we try to do things that other people will. Well, we had the chance to spend some time at sea on a yacht a couple of weeks ago (perks of the other job). Unfortunatly the Admiral dial was not ready in time to take it for sea trials but our test watch has the same case, so it went with me. We also took another watch from a larger and more expencive manufacture but its heavy bracelet made it a pain on board, with the leather band the Schuhren spent the majority of the time on my wrist at sea without a hitch. Whether winching or grinding, sat for hours on the tiller or enjoying a drink in the evening, it fitted the situation perfectly. Do not forget to treat the leather band with some conditioner or leather food before venturing out in the sea as the salt water would not be its best friend.
